Does the framework support other browsers than IE? I'm trying it out on Firefox where the StringLengthRule seems to be working fine, but the RequiredStringRule is not working on the client side.

Update: It seems to be because Firefox doesn't read the attributes added in the function ExtendedRequiredFieldValidator.AddAttributesToRender. If I change the line

writer.AddAttribute("initialValue", InitialValue);

to

Page.ClientScript.RegisterExpandoAttribute(base.ID, "initialValue", InitialValue);

and do the same thing with the "evaluationfunction" attribute, then the attributes gets added with client script instead. And then it works in Firefox as well.

It’s nice when someone finds a bug and then provides the fix :)
Changes have been made and checked in.
Thanks
