Can someone help me out. I'm trying to figure out the pro's and cons of .net Validation Framework vs MS Validation Application Block. Both framework seems to offer property rule definitions and definition via an external xml file ( which I'd primarily be using) but it's hard to compare since I haven't used either extensively. From my preliminary scan through the documentations:

For .net Validation Framework:
- cleaner API
- cleaner looking config files
- smaller runtime footprint since only 1 dll.
- better documentation and samples

For MS VAB:
- more popular, so more support?
- support of composite rules (not sure how useful this actually is ) ..

Also, is there any planned support for .net 3 for .net Val Framework?

The MS VAB quickstart/samples for the validation framework is actually VERY limited in comparison to .net Validation Framework :)
