Are there new features that have caused this project to see less use and development? If so, what technologies should I be looking for? Is there .NET framework functionality that now supersedes this projects?

I have a project that was previously in Visual Studio 2005. I had to migrate to 2010 and did a conversion, as well as manually recreating all the projects.

In both instances cl.exe crashes upon the first attribute from ValidationFramework it encounters.

Has anyone used the latest release w/ vs2010?

I've also added the source to my solution and built it manually, same result. Any tips on how to get this working?

Why do i get "The Address Is Not Valid" when viewing the CHM?

Symptoms
Open CHM and can view the index but every page you try to view gives the error ”The Address Is Not Valid”.
Cause
This is due the Windows “feature” of blocking certain file types, which are downloaded from the internet, from running on your machine. This occurs on Windows XP (with the latest hot fixes applied) and Windows Vista.
Fix
Ensure the chm is not currently open
Right click and view Properties.
Then click the “Unblock” button at bottom right of the dialog.

Note: If you would prefer not to trust this CHM then feel free to use the Sandcastle Help File Builder (http://www.codeplex.com/SHFB) and the config file (Validation\SandCastleProject.shfb) to build your own chm.

I used your framework and its very good, but i want to localize my messages, i must specify localized message for all attributes.

i think that if you place api internal messages ( specially validation result messages ) in the .resx files, your clients simply can build localized version of your messages and it may decrease custom codes.\

I ran in to a problem when trying to validate some classes. I have two models, one that inherits from the other:

public class foo
{
     [ComparePropertyRule("MinPrice", CompareOperator.LessThan)]
     public virtual decimal Price { get; set; }

     public virtual decimal MinPrice { get; set; }

     //Other attributes
}

public class bar : foo
{
     //Other attributes
}

When I try to validate bar objects, ValidationFramework can't find bar's MinPrice property even though it is present in all instances of bar. If I override MinPrice in bar, the validation functions correctly.

Is this behavior inherent to C# reflection, or is this a bug in ComparePropertyRule?

Issue: It is raising error message in both cases (positive and negitive)

Please help me in sorting out this issue.

It i get solution for this .......I will save almost 40 % time in writing validations.
